AJ is an Iowa farmer from the top of his Pioneer seed corn hat to the tips of his worn and wrinkled work boots. He made a good living out of the rich soil of the western part of the state for a long time. Corn, soy beans, and hogs. Now he's retired and rents his land to a younger farmer. He keeps busy doing carpentry projects, keeping up the home place, and doing churchwork.
