We gave a farewell block party last Sunday for our next door neighbors. They're moving to an assisted living residence after twenty-six years in the neighborhood. Our block is a mixture of older residents, some middle-age people (I reluctantly put myself in this category) and a few thirty-somethings. Most of the residents showed up for the festivities. John and Dee have been wonderful neighbors and we will all miss them.
