Palisade, CO. This shot of Mt. Garfield in western Colorado is one of my first shots from a moving vehicle, a technique that I have become increasingly fond of. There's just something about that foreground motion blur that that calls up all the road trips and hitchhiking excursions of my youth. There is nothing like a straight shot of asphalt disappearing in the distance on a warm summer morning to make you feel like a free man in paradise.

Palisade is orchard and vineyard country. It's an interesting area and definitely worth a visit.
