Rainy day, dream away. In the two months since I started this blog I have slowly become clearer about the kind of photos I'm interested in making. Unfortunately these are not those. In fact these are just the best I've got after a day of half-hearted, uninspired, and brief picture taking. It rained on and off all day. We started out on a walk mid-morning, but after only fifty yards it started to pour and we turned back. Lunch, a nap, some noodling on the guitar. It was the kind of day on which Hesse found everything in the world "stupid and comfortless." But just before dusk the sun came through the clouds and I set out again with camera slung over my shoulder.
