Parasailing. I tried parasailing in Nice, France in 1997 and thought it was a kick. This time I was just along for the ride and to document the event with my trusty Nikon. Things have gotten a little more sophisticated in the last eight years. When I tried it we took off with a running start from the beach and finished by being dropped in the water about 30 yards offshore. Now you lift off from the after deck of the boat and then are reeled in like an airborn trout right back to the same spot. You can do the whole thing without getting wet.
