Plum Island is where my brother has lived for the last two winters. He has a place right on the beach with a great view of the Atlantic on three sides of his living/dining room. Salt air and the sound of the ocean have a therapeutic effect on me that is unmatched by any other natural setting. I love the woods and the mountains, lakes, rivers and streams, but the beach always feels like coming home.
